Thank you for following up and for providing additional context regarding the appraisal and ACV determination. I appreciate your willingness to review this matter further.
After carefully reviewing the valuation report and the comparables used, I respectfully disagree with the determined Actual Cash Value of $18,126, as I do not believe it accurately reflects the fair market value of my vehicle.
While I understand that ACV is based on recent closed-market data and adjusted for standard negotiation, the comparable vehicles used in the valuation do not appear to support the conclusion reached. Even after accounting for typical negotiation discounts, the closest relevant comparables in my immediate geographic area indicate a materially higher value: • A comparable vehicle priced at $20,800 with approximately 15,000 more miles than my vehicle • A comparable vehicle priced at $23,147 with approximately 10,000 fewer miles than my vehicle • A comparable vehicle priced at $24,447 with approximately 25,000 fewer miles than my vehicle
All of these vehicles are located within 25 miles of me, making them highly relevant market indicators. Even when conservatively adjusting these figures for negotiation, the resulting values remain meaningfully above the ACV currently assigned.
Additionally, the valuation does not appear to account for the known mechanical condition of my vehicle. My vehicle was recently and fully serviced prior to being listed on Turo, whereas the mechanical condition and service status of the comparable vehicles are unknown. This places my vehicle in demonstrably better condition than what can reasonably be assumed for many market listings.
Given the mileage differences, geographic proximity of the comparables, and the verified condition of my vehicle, I believe the current ACV understates its true market value.
